People rear cattle for eggs, milk and meat, silkworm for silk, fish for fish meat and many other animals. They do for the sole purpose of getting some product from different animals. Some do this on a small scale and some do it on a commercial level for the large production under the desired condition for the purpose of selling or exporting. Same is the case with salmon fish. The farming and harvesting of salmon under controlled conditions is known as aquaculture. It is performed both for recreational and commercial purposes. Salmons are considered as the most important fish in aquaculture. Salmons are the most commonly commercially farmed fish in Atlantic. There are different countries having different forms of salmons. Norway is the leading salmon exporter country in the world. This place constitutes 33% of total salmon production. Since 1970, commercial aquaculture has been developed in Norway and now it is developed into a big industry in coastal areas. 95% of Norwegian salmon production is exported all over the world. Norwegian salmon has a superior flavor, is incredibly healthy, have a perfectly firm texture, and packed with protein and Omega-3s. The marine environment is protected and controlled to maintain the productive capability for successful production of salmon in Norway.
